PeerTry Privacy Policy
Effective 20 October 2026 · Applies to PeerTry: Test & Get Feedback.
Who operates PeerTry
PeerTry: Test & Get Feedback ("PeerTry") is operated by FloreMystique Studios Ltd, Mauritius. Privacy enquiries: floremystique@gmail.com. This policy applies to the PeerTry Android app, not every other studio product.
What we collect
We process Google sign-in identity information such as your account identifier, email address, display name and provider profile details, as available; account preferences and optional notification choices; project names, descriptions, categories and URLs; feedback, replies, daily testing observations, participation records, points and reputation events; reports and blocking choices; and service diagnostics and moderation results. Optional screenshot/image evidence may contain material visible in your submitted image—avoid personal or sensitive data.
How and why it is used
We use these details to authenticate accounts, display eligible project listings, match testers and project owners, validate real testing activity, prevent repeated rewards and abuse, send notifications when enabled, moderate content, handle reporting and account deletion, and secure the service. PeerTry does not pay or award points for submitting public Google Play ratings or incentivized Play Store installations.
Providers and disclosures
Supabase hosts authentication, relational data, server-side functions and private image storage. Google provides OAuth sign-in and Firebase Cloud Messaging for enabled push notifications. Cloudflare Workers AI may process text or images submitted for automatic content safety checks. When a tester submits feedback to an eligible project owner, that owner can access approved feedback and permitted evidence. Limited project/member details may be visible to other signed-in users. These services may process information outside Mauritius under their applicable practices.
Permissions and optional data
Internet access is required to use community features. Android may ask permission to send notifications; they are optional. Choosing to attach a screenshot may open the system image picker, but PeerTry does not require access to your whole photo library for normal use. It does not require continuous background location tracking. The app may open external websites and Google Play listings at your request.
Moderation, safeguards and security
Submitted feedback, photos and project content may be assessed by automated moderation. Images can remain quarantined if an automated check is unavailable; approval is not guaranteed. PeerTry applies server rules, private storage and access checks, but no system can guarantee absolute security. Do not upload passwords, personal identifiers, bank details or confidential images.
Retention and deletion
Active project and testing records are retained while needed for the exchange, safety and accounting. Expired screenshots and session evidence are subject to automated cleanup; existing maintenance removes some temporary testing details after expiry, but specific periods may vary by data category and operational requirements. In Settings, choose Delete my PeerTry account to request permanent account deletion. The process is designed to remove the Auth account, projects, feedback and user-related private uploads. If access is lost, use our account deletion request page. Limited aggregated and de-identified operational or security records may be retained where justified; they should not contain your published profile or reusable user account.
Your choices and rights
You can change your profile display name, report or block users, disable notifications, and request account deletion. You may contact us at floremystique@gmail.com to ask about privacy, data access, correction or a deletion problem. If we must verify a request, we will use reasonable confirmation steps without asking for your password.
Children and research use
PeerTry is intended for adults aged 18 and over; the onboarding agreement states this requirement. Students and researchers must obtain any necessary institutional ethics approval or participant consent independently. PeerTry is a usability feedback tool, not an academic respondent recruitment or results-generation guarantee.
Updates to this policy
We may update this policy when the app, vendors or data handling changes. We will post the revised text with its effective date. The policy and the Google Play Data safety declaration should be reviewed against the final production build before launch.
