HomeGym: Fitness Exercise Privacy Policy

1. Overview

HomeGym: Fitness Exercise (“HomeGym”, “the app”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is an offline-first fitness planning, workout tracking, body-progress and activity-reminder app developed by FloreMystique Studios Ltd.

This Privacy Policy explains what information HomeGym stores on your device, when information leaves your device, which third-party services may process information, how the information is used, and the choices available to you.

2. Information stored locally on your device

HomeGym may store the following information in private app storage so it can build and maintain your plan:

• Profile information: your name, date of birth, calculation sex selection, life-stage selection, training difficulty, lifestyle level, work days and work hours.
• Routine and fitness information: routine activities, training days, fitness goals, visual goal levels, available equipment, equipment weights and dumbbell weights.
• Body and progress information: height, weight, target weight, waist, hip, chest, arm and thigh measurements, estimated body-fat percentage where available, progress check-ins and measurement history.
• Workout information: generated workout plans, workout dates, duration, exercises completed, sets, repetitions, loads and effort scores.
• Smart Scan information: front and side body photos, local photo paths, pose landmarks, silhouette measurements, body-proportion estimates, measurement estimates, scan-quality values and related progress notes.
• Outdoor activity information: activity type, title, date and time, place name, optional note, optional GPS coordinates, recurrence and reminder lead time.
• Preferences and app state: voice preference, reminder state, recent-use information, advertising frequency state and optional Food Guard state/cooldown information.

Some of this information, particularly body measurements, life-stage selections and Smart Scan results, can be sensitive wellness information. HomeGym uses it to provide fitness planning and progress features and does not sell this locally stored fitness information.

3. No account and no fitness-profile cloud sync

HomeGym does not require registration, an email address, a password or a developer-hosted user account. Your HomeGym profile, routine, workout history, measurements and Smart Scan records are not uploaded to a FloreMystique Studios cloud account for synchronization.

Because most of this information exists only on your device, FloreMystique Studios Ltd normally cannot remotely view, recover, correct or erase it for you.

4. Smart Scan photos and on-device ML processing

Smart Scan is optional. When you choose to use it, HomeGym lets you take or select front and side body photos. The app copies the selected photos into its private app documents storage and analyzes them to estimate body proportions and measurements.

HomeGym uses Google ML Kit pose detection and selfie segmentation. Google states that ML Kit API input data such as images and the resulting outputs are processed on-device and are not sent to Google servers. ML Kit can, however, send Google diagnostic and usage metrics such as device/app information, performance metrics, API configuration, feature versions, event types, error codes and installation-related identifiers.

HomeGym does not upload your Smart Scan photos to a FloreMystique Studios server. The app may retain the front and side scan images locally so you can review progress later.

5. Location, place search and Food Guard

Location features are optional. HomeGym can request approximate, precise and background location permissions for GPS-assisted activity planning and the optional Food Guard feature.

Activity place search

When you search for an activity location or use your current position to help find a place, HomeGym may send the search text, nearby coordinates and/or country information to the OpenStreetMap Foundation’s Nominatim service. Reverse-geocoding may send latitude and longitude to Nominatim to identify a place.

Food Guard

If you explicitly enable Food Guard and grant the required location access, HomeGym can monitor your current area while the app is active and can also perform periodic background checks. Current coordinates are sent to the OpenStreetMap Overpass API to identify nearby restaurants, fast-food places, food courts, supermarkets, malls or similar locations. HomeGym then uses the result to decide whether to show a local coaching notification.

HomeGym is designed not to keep a readable history of restaurants or malls visited through Food Guard. It keeps limited local state such as a one-way place fingerprint and timestamps used for dwell/cooldown logic. If you save an outdoor activity with GPS coordinates, those coordinates are stored locally as part of that activity until removed.

OpenStreetMap services may independently log technical information about API requests, including IP address, application/device information, request time and requested service. Their processing is governed by the OpenStreetMap Foundation’s own privacy terms.

6. Move together activity sharing and invite links

HomeGym lets you create outdoor activities and share them through the Android share sheet. Sharing is always user-initiated.

A shared activity can include the activity title/type, date and time, place name, optional note, recurrence and, when present, GPS coordinates. These details are also encoded into the HomeGym invite link so another HomeGym user can open the activity.

When you choose a messaging, social or other sharing app, the selected third-party app and the recipients you choose will receive the shared content. Their handling of the information is governed by their own privacy policies.

The HTTPS invite link uses homegym.floremystique.mu as a redirect/open-in-app page. Hosting infrastructure may generate ordinary web server logs when the link is opened, potentially including IP address, browser/device information, date/time and the requested URL. Because the activity data is carried in the link, do not put highly sensitive information into an activity title, note or location that you would not want recipients to receive.

7. Advertising and Google Mobile Ads

HomeGym may display Google AdMob banner and interstitial advertisements using the Google Mobile Ads SDK. Google states that the SDK can automatically collect and share information for advertising, analytics and fraud-prevention purposes, including:

• IP address, which may be used to estimate general location;
• app and advertisement interactions such as launches, taps, impressions and video views;
• diagnostic and performance information such as launch time, hangs and energy usage; and
• device/account identifiers such as the Android advertising ID, app set ID or related identifiers where available.

Google states that data collected by the Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit. Advertising choices and identifier controls may depend on your country, Android settings, Google account settings and HomeGym’s advertising configuration.

8. Notifications, alarms and background operation

HomeGym may request notification and exact-alarm permissions so it can provide workout, hydration, progress and outdoor-activity reminders. If you enable Food Guard, Android may also run a foreground location service and periodic background checks.

Reminder titles, times and message content are scheduled or displayed through Android’s notification/alarm system. Android and your device manufacturer may process this information as part of normal operating-system functionality.

9. Camera, photo picker and other device capabilities

Depending on the features you use, HomeGym may use:

• Camera / photo picker: only when you initiate Smart Scan photo capture or selection.
• Precise, approximate and background location: for optional GPS place features and Food Guard.
• Internet/network access: for AdMob, OpenStreetMap place lookup, shared web invite links and third-party SDK communication.
• Notifications, alarms, wake locks and boot events: to deliver or restore scheduled reminders.
• Vibration: for haptic feedback and reminder/gameplay-style cues.
• Local app storage: for your profile, measurements, workout history, plans, Smart Scan photos/results and activities.
• Text-to-speech: for optional voice coaching. Text is passed to the text-to-speech engine installed/configured on your device. Some TTS providers may use online processing depending on your device and provider settings.

The current Android app does not require access to your contacts, SMS messages, call history or microphone for its normal HomeGym features.

10. How HomeGym uses information

HomeGym uses locally stored information to:

• create a fitness plan adapted to your age, life stage, routine, goals, equipment and schedule;
• calculate and display progress trends and fitness estimates;
• remember completed workouts, repetitions, loads and effort;
• run Smart Scan and compare body-progress check-ins;
• schedule workout, hydration and outdoor-activity reminders;
• support optional location-aware Food Guard coaching;
• create and open user-shared outdoor activity invitations; and
• remember settings and reduce unnecessary repeated advertisements or prompts.

11. How information is shared

We do not sell your locally stored HomeGym profile, Smart Scan photos, body measurements, workout history or saved activities.

Information may leave your device in these situations:

• Google AdMob: advertising, analytics, diagnostics, security and fraud-prevention data.
• Google ML Kit: ML Kit diagnostic and usage metrics; Google states Smart Scan image inputs and outputs are processed on-device and are not sent to Google.
• OpenStreetMap services: place-search text, coordinates and technical request information when location/place features are used.
• Sharing apps and recipients: activity information you deliberately share through the Android share sheet.
• HomeGym web invite hosting: standard web-request information when a shared HTTPS invite link is opened.
• Device/OS service providers: information processed by Android, camera/photo picker, notifications, alarms, backup, text-to-speech or other system services.
• Legal requirements: information actually available to us may be disclosed where required by valid law, legal process or to protect rights and security.

12. Data retention and deletion

Your profile, measurements, workout logs, plans, activities and Smart Scan records generally remain on your device until you remove/reset them, clear HomeGym’s app storage or uninstall the app.

Important current-build detail: using HomeGym’s “Reset all” function clears saved profile/progress references and disables Food Guard, but Smart Scan image files copied into the app’s private documents folder may remain on the device even after the scan records are cleared. To reliably remove all normal HomeGym local data, including retained Smart Scan image files, clear HomeGym’s storage/data in Android settings or uninstall the app.

Your operating system’s backup/restore features may back up or later restore some app data depending on your device and backup settings.

Information processed by Google, OpenStreetMap, a sharing app, your device manufacturer or another third party must be managed according to that provider’s own retention and deletion controls.

13. Security

HomeGym is designed so core fitness information and Smart Scan photos remain in private app storage rather than being synchronized to a developer fitness account. Network requests use HTTPS where supported by the third-party services used by the app.

No storage system, device, third-party SDK or internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. Protect your phone with a screen lock, keep Android updated and avoid sharing activity links containing information you consider highly sensitive.

14. Children and younger users

HomeGym is not directed to children under 13. The current app supports profile ages from 13 upward. Smart body-measurement estimates are disabled for youth profiles under 18, and additional safety restrictions apply to certain life-stage modes.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child under 13 has entered information into HomeGym, remove the local profile and clear the app’s storage or uninstall the app. Because HomeGym does not maintain a developer-hosted fitness account, we normally cannot remotely delete local device data.

15. International processing

Third-party services such as Google, OpenStreetMap infrastructure, your device provider and any sharing app you choose may process technical information in countries other than the country where you live. Their processing is governed by their own privacy policies and applicable legal safeguards.

16. Your choices and controls

• Use HomeGym without creating an online account.
• Skip Smart Scan and enter measurements manually.
• Deny or revoke camera/photo access when you do not want to capture/select Smart Scan images.
• Deny location access and avoid GPS place features.
• Keep Food Guard disabled, or disable it later to stop its location monitoring.
• Choose not to share outdoor activities or omit GPS coordinates/notes before sharing.
• Disable notifications or exact-alarm access through Android settings.
• Turn off optional voice coaching.
• Manage advertising identifiers and preferences through Android/Google settings.
• Use HomeGym’s reset controls for saved records, and clear app storage or uninstall HomeGym when you want to reliably remove all normal local app data including retained Smart Scan image files.

Depending on where you live, applicable privacy law may provide additional rights concerning personal data held by third parties. Requests concerning data held by those providers should be directed to the relevant provider.

17. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when HomeGym’s features, third-party services, legal requirements or distribution-platform policies change. The latest version should be published with a revised effective date.
