Florevo Privacy Policy

Florevo: Plant Identify & Care is an Android plant identification and care app developed by FloreMystique Studios Ltd. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app can process, when information may leave your device, and the choices available to you.

1. Information Florevo handles

Depending on the features you use and the version installed, Florevo may process:

• Plant photos that you capture or deliberately choose from your device.
• Plant identification results, likely matches, confirmations and scan history.
• Plant Dex entries, favourites, care notes, reminder schedules and related plant records.
• App settings, scan allowances, progression information and feature preferences.
• Technical information needed for network requests, downloads, advertising, diagnostics or security when those services are present.

Florevo does not require your real name, phone number or a FloreMystique Studios account for its normal plant identification and care features.

2. Camera and photos

Florevo may request access to your camera so you can photograph a plant for identification, close-up comparison or plant records. Where supported, you may also choose an existing image through Android's photo picker or another system picker.

The app only uses a photo when you initiate a feature that needs it. Camera access is not intended for background recording, and Florevo does not need microphone access for normal plant identification.

3. Plant identification and network services

Florevo may use a combination of network-assisted identification and on-device model resources. When an online identification feature is used, the selected plant image and technical request information may be transmitted to the service used to produce or refine the identification result. The service may also receive information such as your IP address, request time, device or network metadata and other information normally included in an internet request.

Some optional high-accuracy model resources may be downloaded separately. Download hosting providers receive ordinary web-request information when your device requests those files. Once an on-device model is available, supported identification work may be performed locally without uploading the plant photo for that local step.

Plant identification is probabilistic. Florevo may present multiple close matches and ask you to confirm the plant rather than treating an uncertain result as certain.

4. Local plant data and care

Florevo may store information locally so your discoveries and plant-care experience are available the next time you open the app. Local data can include Plant Dex entries, confirmed plant names, saved images or image references, care information, reminders, scan history, progression and settings.

This local information is used to provide the app's features. It is not sold by FloreMystique Studios Ltd.

5. Location and notifications

If a Florevo feature offers location-aware discovery or geographic refinement, location access is optional and should only be used after you grant the relevant Android permission. Depending on the implementation and permission you choose, the app may use approximate or precise location to improve nearby or region-sensitive plant information.

Florevo may also request notification permission for care reminders or other reminders you enable. Notification titles, schedules and app reminder data may be processed by Android as part of normal operating-system functionality.

6. Advertising and rewarded ads

Some Florevo releases may show advertising, including optional rewarded advertisements that can unlock additional scans or similar in-app benefits. Advertising providers such as Google AdMob may automatically process information including IP address, advertising or device identifiers, ad interactions, diagnostic information, approximate location derived from an IP address, security signals and other technical information used for ad delivery, measurement and fraud prevention.

7. Accounts and purchases

Florevo's normal identification, Plant Dex and care features do not require a FloreMystique Studios user account. If a version of Florevo offers a paid "remove ads" feature or another Google Play purchase, the transaction is handled by Google Play. FloreMystique Studios Ltd does not receive your full payment-card details from Google Play.

8. How information is shared

FloreMystique Studios Ltd does not sell your plant photos, Plant Dex, care records or personal information. Information may leave your device only when needed for a feature or service you use, such as:

• An online plant-identification or enrichment service when you choose a network-assisted scan.
• Model or data hosting services when the app downloads optional identification resources.
• Google Play for app distribution and purchases.
• Advertising providers when ads or rewarded ads are enabled in the version you use.
• Android, your device manufacturer or other system providers for camera/photo picking, notifications, network access, backup or similar operating-system functions.
• Legal authorities where disclosure of information actually available to us is required by valid law or legal process.

Each third-party provider operates under its own privacy policy and terms.

9. Retention and deletion

Local Florevo data generally remains on your device until you delete records using available app controls, clear the app's storage in Android settings, or uninstall the app. Device backup and restore features may affect whether some local information returns after reinstalling.

Because Florevo does not require a FloreMystique Studios cloud account for normal use, we normally cannot remotely retrieve or delete information that exists only on your device. Information processed by an online identification, advertising, hosting, store or device provider is retained according to that provider's own policy.

10. Security

Florevo is designed to keep ordinary saved plant records local where the feature does not need an online service. Network communications should use encrypted HTTPS where supported by the third-party service. No device, storage method or internet service can be guaranteed completely secure, so you should keep Android updated and protect your device with the security features available to you.

11. Children's privacy

Florevo is not designed to ask children for real-world personal information as part of normal plant identification. Children should use the app in accordance with the age rules, family settings and supervision requirements that apply to their device, app store and country.

12. International processing

Third-party identification, advertising, hosting, store or device providers may process technical information in countries other than the country where you live. Their own privacy policies and legal safeguards apply to that processing.

13. Your choices

• Choose whether to take a new plant photo or select an existing photo.
• Deny camera, photo, location or notification permissions you do not want to use, subject to the related feature not working.
• Use local identification resources where the installed version supports them.
• Choose whether to watch an optional rewarded advertisement.
• Manage advertising consent and preferences through the controls offered on your device and by the advertising provider.
• Delete individual plant records where the app provides a delete control, or clear Florevo's app storage / uninstall the app to remove ordinary local app data.

14. Changes to this policy

Florevo is an evolving app. We may update this Privacy Policy when identification providers, model downloads, permissions, advertising, purchases, data handling or legal requirements change. The latest version will be published here with a revised effective date.

This policy describes Florevo as outlined above. If a store build adds materially different permissions, SDKs, cloud services or data practices, update this policy before releasing that build.
